UNDER 18s & FIRST GRADE CROWNED PS4 NPL NSW MEN'S CHAMPIONS
Congratulations to Head Coach Tony Basha and the First Grade boys who took out the grand final today against Hills Brumbies with a 4-1 victory.
A healthy crowd made their way to the grandstand at Football NSW headquarters for what promised to be a classic between the competition’s two biggest heavyweights.
After having the better of play during an entertaining first half, Rydalmere eventually edged themselves in front via a Zac Elrich goal on the stroke of half time, before the league’s top marksman, Peter Cejkaa, restored parity for Hills just after the hour mark. Amaury Gauthier put Rydalmere back in front shortly afterwards, before two more goals in injury time – one from substitute, Yoel Silvestre, and Gauthier again, with his second – completed the scoring in the season decider.
The boys were enthusiastic and determined from the outset, and even though at times the game didn’t seem to be panning out like they had wanted, they stayed focused and applied themselves to the task at hand.
Simon Zahra was the Man of the Match, working tirelessly across the midfield, always showing himself as a support and often winning possession as he sent his attackers on their way. Zac Elrich and Amaury Gauthier were dangerous in attack whenever they had the ball at their feet, whilst captain, Matthew Mayora, was a rock in defence, leading by example throughout.
Thanks must also go to assistant Michael Canale, Team Manager Louie El Khoury , Monica Bacha, the medical team of Charbel Daher and Danny Kim for their support of the boys.

Congratulations must also go to Head Coach Chris Camilleri and the Under 18s squad on their fantastic achievement winning their grand final.
Coming from 4th position these boys faced elimination games every week in the final series, and they have been rewarded for that hard work.
Thanks must also go to Monica Bacha and Gill Gauthier for their hard work this year supporting the boys.
OUR NEW CLUB CREST UNVEILED
The club has unveiled a new club crest which will appear on all the team’s shirts from the start of the 2017 season.
The new design marks a departure from the existing badges, and instead resembles an updated version of the club’s previous crests.
2016 YEAR IN REVIEW
Season 2016 has been another successful year in Rydalmere Football club’s
Please click here for a Snapshot summary of the year it was.
The club continues to go move forward in accordance with our vision.
We would like to thank you all for believing in the clubs values.
It was great to have the number of our association junior registered players (Under 6s to Under 9s) grow by 10%.
In season 2016 the club had 41 registered teams (including National Premier League junior and senior teams). This is another club record.
For the first time in the clubs history, a decision to cap the number of junior teams had to be made given we are limited in facilities. The club registered over 550 players.
We would like to thank our valued sponsors whose involvement goes a long way in helping support us in achieving our goals.
